Intense Custom Diode Laser Design
A large portion of Intense's business involves custom parts. Intense prides itself in being able to quickly design and manufacture custom parts to the customers specifications. Wafers
Special wavelengths, source sizes and laser parameters can be achieved with a custom wafer growth. Intense has many custom wavelengths in inventory. If we do not have the wavelength necessary for your application we can custom grow a wafer for you. Although this is not cost effective for small quantities, it is only slightly more expensive than standard product for moderate to large quantities.
Packaging
Intense can design a custom package to meet your needs. This may include modifying standard package, adding components or designing a completely custom package. Small quantities of custom packages may be machined in house, larger quantities are typically manufactured by package vendors
Testing
Intense can add additional test criteria to your part (for example MIL specs), we can use your test procedures or we can develop a dedicated test system for your application.
Electronics
Intense can integrate your laser with commercial laser drivers. We can also modify our 7401 laser system for your application or we can design a completely custom system which would typically consist of a laser driver, tec controller and a user interface.
